What Do You See?
A common sight at our house: Dan at the piano while the girls dance. While watching this one, know that it was recorded though my Photo Booth program, so they can see themselves on the screen. Give me your best interpretation: funny, spiritual, or anything in between!

Complete adorableness.
I keep watching this myself!
I love how Macy is jumping at first and then catches a glimpse of Ada’s smoother moves. She watches and then tried to copy her. Peer pressure? Negative or positive? I could see it both ways, but either way it is CUTE!
Claire’s role is pretty funny, too. She’s circling Ada in what looks like a choreographed routine, but then she disappears. Probably saw something more interesting!
Macy is my favorite part. Especially when she ran up to the screen and was suddenly YOU a few decades ago. I always know she looks like you, but in that frame it was startling for a second. And then the way she mirrors Ada is really beautiful.
I love Claire’s circles and the synchronized move at the end with Ada and Macy. I also loved that Jake and I had to watch this MANY times. He kept saying, “One more time – Macy, Mom. One more time.” You know what I love about dancing? It puts you directly in the moment. Period. I love that freedom, and you can totally see it here.
It’s amazing to me that none of them seem distracted by the others. I love how they all danced, as if they were the only one dancing. What beautiful girls you have!
They are adorable!
You’ve just made my day. Really.
It makes me so happy –kids in their own world, dancing what they feel–not a bit self conscious!
We all need a good dose of that spirit!
