Another Reason to Smile
I love coming across the unexpected. One of my professors posted this on a class discussion board and it made my day.

I loved this!! I kept thinking, “this would be so fun to put together and pull off!” And then the clip just made me smile and laugh out loud. Thanks for adding it to my day.
Amazing!!Thanks for the smile.
This video is EVERYTHING RIGHT WITH THE WORLD.
Thank you Felic! I smiled all the way through it!!! Now I am ready to go to be in the joy of the Lord or SO…I say & I will probably dream about doe’s & needle’s pulling thread and…you get the idea!
What a blast! That was so fun to watch! Thanks!
I am so doing this the next time I hear “R-E-S-P-E-C-T” over the loud speakers in the grocery store! I know I could at least get Natalie and Elsie going with me.
Although I confess, I think part of the magic is Julie Andrews.
I would love to see that, Eleanor! And I had the same reaction – it made me want to break out into dance more often in public places. Of course, I’d like to have several of you there with me . . . and the choreography is pretty essential. I don’t know – I’m going to have to think about how to make this happen! : )
That would be SO much fun to do something like that!! Wow, thanks for posting that, Felic! What a blast.
I saw this just last week on another blog I follow, and found myself smiling the whole time. I ALMOST put it on my blog too, great minds, you know?
I loved it, and enjoyed the expressions of people just watching who eventually got in the jive of it all.
THANKS!
I love this…has completely brightened my day!
Jason says he thinks it was staged.
Well, grumpy Jason, I think you are right. What I read pointed to it being a commercial of sorts for the Sound of Music opening in that city. But I do believe it was a surprise to the people at the train station! And even if it is a fake it still makes me smile!
I can never see the clips inside of your blog, but luckily the comments had enough description I could search for it and found it on Yahoo! What a great video!
Thanks for sticking with it, Carol! I’m sorry you can’t see the YouTube videos . . . I wonder why that is?
My workplace blocks a lot of streaming video, so it’s either because of the flash player that it was trying to use to display, or because it wasn’t allowed to stream into the page by our proxy setup. I read the “Nickerson girls’” blogs on my lunch hour while I eat at my desk. I really enjoy reading your blogs and hearing what’s going on. Just recently saw your link to Dan’s page and enjoy seeing the set lists for worship at the church.
We’ve been toying with the idea of moving back up home…well, at least home for me. Scott is from Centralia. We keep thinking about checking out what Heartland has in the way of jobs for a couple of techno-philes; my husband works with hardware, and I work with software. Just haven’t done it yet.
If you don’t mind living in a cornfield, you’ll love it!
I don’t know if we do much with software, but the computer guys around here stay pretty busy. I can email you some phone numbers if you want.
This made me so happy.
